Workers sign offer letters, contractor agreements and NDAs on their phone with a code sent by email, and every signed PDF carries a timestamp and an evidence certificate.
Under the federal ESIGN Act and the state UETA laws, a signature cannot be denied legal effect solely because it is electronic. Staffli records who signed, what and when: the signer confirms with a code sent to their email, the signature is timestamped and an evidence certificate is attached to the PDF. Staffli does not verify identity documents and does not complete Form I-9.
Add the card to the worker's profile with its expiry date. Staffli alerts you before it expires, shows it on the documents dashboard, warns you if you schedule that worker after the date, and Nelson reminds the worker in the app and by SMS to renew.
